Upon arriving at Acosta Ave. between 5th and 6th street in the 10 de Octubre area, one can not help but admire the architectural beauty of La Fuente, a family restaurant. The restaurant takes its name from the fountain that welcomes visitors from the middle of the front garden from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Within La Fuente’s main course and side dishes menu you will find roast beef, Uruguayan steak, lamb au rouge vin, fried beef, meat and fish carpaccio, fried pork, barbecued pork chops, filet mignon, a range of seafood dishes, a variety of pasta recipes, all accompanied by a heft helping of rice.
